- 31 are/were civil servants
- 39 are IIM graduates
- 14 are/were professors at IITs/IIMs/IISc
- 116 are graduates from foreign universities (including Harvard, Wharton, Kellog and Stanford)
- 141 hold Doctorates
- 298 are Chartered Accountants, 266 are Company Secretaries, 46 are Cost Accountants
- 290 are Lawyers and 7 are Medical Doctors
- 102 are Engineers of which 19 are from IITs, 10 from BITS and 0 from ITBHU
- 67 are already holding 110 independent directorships on listed companies
- 71% have more than 10 years experience
With the Companies Bill now mandating at-least one Women Director on the board of listed companies, there is going to be a huge requirement for Women Directors.
