- 33 are/were civil servants
- 41 are IIM graduates
- 14 are/were professors at IITs/IIMs/IISc
- 121 are graduates from foreign universities (including Harvard, Wharton, Kellog and Stanford)
- 151 hold Doctorates
- 312 are Chartered Accountants, 284 are Company Secretaries, 47 are Cost Accountants
- 312 are Lawyers and 8 are Medical Doctors
- 117 are Engineers of which 19 are from IITs, 10 from BITS and 0 from ITBHU
- 76 are already holding 132 independent directorships on listed companies
- 72% have more than 10 years experience
With the Companies Bill now mandating at-least one Women Director on the board of listed companies, there is going to be a huge requirement for Women Directors.
