- 35 are/were civil servants
- 43 are IIM graduates
- 14 are/were professors at IITs/IIMs/IISc
- 122 are graduates from foreign universities (including Harvard, Wharton, Kellog and Stanford)
- 153 hold Doctorates
- 313 are Chartered Accountants, 288 are Company Secretaries, 47 are Cost Accountants
- 318 are Lawyers and 9 are Medical Doctors
- 119 are Engineers of which 20 are from IITs, 10 from BITS and 0 from ITBHU
- 80 are already holding 140 independent directorships on listed companies
- 72% have more than 10 years experience
With the Companies Bill now mandating at-least one Women Director on the board of listed companies, there is going to be a huge requirement for Women Directors.
